Synopsis
Alune Wade, a Senegalese jazz musician, travels to West Africa, France and New Orleans USA, the birthplace of jazz, to explore the roots of jazz and record them on his new album. Through several stages of his journey, in Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, and New Orleans, the film traces the transmission of African traditions from the African continent to America, as well as the influence of jazz on contemporary African music.
