CANEX X GIZ Masterclass

CANEX Creations Inc. X GIZ Moving Pictures Masterclass powered by AFREXIMBANK
Summary
-
The common goal for GIZ and CANEX Creations Inc. is to encourage formal and documented ownership of copyright in the wide range of creative input in African films.
-
Encourage actual registrations of film copyright registrations for: Pitch decks, Film motion picture, tv series and animation, Behind the Scenes (BTS) Footage, Scripts, Animation storyboards, Original visual effects (VFX), Film Posters, Still Photographs, Film celebrity photographs, Film or Series Music Score, Original Stunt Choreography, Makeup Art, Wardrobe and Costume Sketches/Designs, Set Sketches/Designs, Film-related Software and/or digital platform code and software, and Film training curriculums, masterclass curriculums, and tutorials
-
The thinking behind this is to ensure filmmakers formally register and document their IP, making them ready for financing and investment. As well as to give them some negotiation power as they go into structuring deals for film production and distribution.
